The true story of Dr. Miklos Nyiszli, the Hungarian Jew chosen by Josef Mengele to be the head pathologist at Auschwitz. Nyiszli was one of Auschwitz Sonderkommando - Special squads of Jewish prisoners placed by the Nazis in the excruciating moral dilemma of helping to eliminate fellow Jews in exchange for a few months of life. Together, they fought Sonderkommando organized only armed revolt, which used to take place at Auschwitz. As the rebellion is about to begin, find a group of the unit's 14-year-old girl who miraculously survived a gassing. Catalyst for their desperate attempt to personal redemption, the men become obsessed with saving this one child, even if it endangers the uprising which could save thousands. What a terrible lengths are we willing to go to save our own lives, and that while we sacrifice to save the lives of others?
