Shy Todd Anderson has been sent to the school where her brother popular valedictorian. His room-mate, Neil, although very bright and popular, is very under the thumb of his arrogant father. The two, along with their friends on the other, together with Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who tells them of the Dead Poets Society, and encourages them to fight the status quo. Each, in its own way, does this, and changed for life.
